Charles Amerman Obituary
Charles Amerman, 81, passed away at home on Saturday, September 21, 2024. He was born in Somerville, New Jersey on December 10, 1942, to parents Charles and Dorothy Amerman.
Charles was a talented musician from a young age. He started playing the church organ at Fairmount Methodist in 8th grade and continued for over 25 years. He also enjoyed playing the piano, especially for the residents at nursing homes.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Sherry Amerman; sons, Geoff Amerman, Michael Amerman and partner Peter Apito; and sister Dorothy Cacia.
Charles was preceded in death by his father, Charles Amerman; mother, Dorothy Hann; brother, James Amerman; father-in-law, Lloyd Smith; and mother-in-law, Verna Smith.
Services will be held at a later date.
