He was born December 6, 1956, in Lackland, Florida, to the late Charles Xolphers Bass, II, and Norma Jean Barlow Bass. He was retired from Tyson Foods.
Survivors include his son, Justin Bass, and his wife Diana, of Shelbyville.
Feldhaus Memorial Chapel is assisting the family with the arrangements.

I just found out Charles had passed today, had been looking for him for years to no avail. We knew each other as friends when we were in our teenage years. He was a good friend and always quick with a laugh. I will sure miss him.
We called him Chuck back then.
Rest in peace my dear buddy.
