Mr. Charles Larry Benefield, 80, of Flowery Branch, passed away Friday, April 19, 2024 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center Gainesville Campus.
The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Monday, April 22, 2024 from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. The family will also receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2024 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Zach Williams will officiate.
Born on February 19, 1944 in Braselton, he was the son of Ed and Willie Belle Thompson Benefield. Mr. Benefield was a 1963 graduate of South Hall High School. He was the owner and operator of B&B Egg Sales. He was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Benefield was preceded in death by his sons, Michael Larry Benefield, Rodney Charles Benefield and brothers, Jack Benefield and Johnny Benefield.
Mr. Benefield Is survived by his daughter, Carol Simpson of Flowery Branch; partner, Nancy Howington son, Chancey Howington of Braselton, children, Eddie, Shannon, Stacie and Tanya; grandchildren, Britney Simpson of Flowery Branch, Alex Benefield, Sarah Benefield all of Winder, Channing Howington; Knox Howington, Wyatt Howington all of Braselton; dog and best friend, Outlaw; brother, Edgar Benefield (Virginia) of Flowery Branch and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other loving relatives and friends.
