Charles Lawson Bockover, 77, of Chanute, KS passed away Wednesday April 3, 2024 in his home. Charles
was born on December 20, 1946 to Father Cary Bockover and Mother Emma Caldwell.
Charles married Freda Pauline McCarty on July 3, 1989. Charles loved shooting pool, playing cards and
Garage selling with his Daughter. He enjoyed fishing and looking at coins, buying and selling them.
Charles was a loving husband, father and caring man, who loved to spend time with his family at any
opportunity that life gave him.
Charles is Survived by:
His wife Polly Bockover
4 Daughters
3 Sons
3 Brothers:
Vernon
Rick
Jim
18 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren
Charles was preceded in death by his Father Cary Bockover, Mother Emma Caldwell. 4 brothers, 2 sisters
and his son Little Charles.
Grave side services at Chanute Cemetery will be scheduled at a later date.
Services are under the guidance of Countryside Funeral Home-Johnson Chapel
