Mr. Charles McRoy Boyles, Jr., 80, of Hampton, entered into eternal rest Wednesday evening, October 29, 2025, at his residence. He was the husband of the late Marcia Waites Boyles to whom he was married 50 years.
Charles was born June 16, 1945, in Ridgeland, to the late Charles McRoy Boyles, Sr. and Sue Rivers Boyles. He was a graduate of Wade Hampton High School. He served his country in the South Carolina Army National Guard. Mr. Charles was a member of Hampton First Baptist Church. He was a real estate agent for over 40 years and was the owner of Boyles Real Estate in Hampton, the business he started with his father. He also served on the Hampton Town Council for 20 years. He was an avid Clemson Tigers fan and loved watching them play, but most of all, he loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them.
Surviving are: his children, Charles Michael “Charlie” Boyles, Sr. (Tina) of Hampton, Allen Risher Boyles (Melinda) of Hurt, Virginia, and Jason Brooks Boyles (Fay) of Hampton; grandchildren, Olivia Boyles, Charles Michael Boyles, Jr., Michael Boyles, Brooks Boyles, Jaylynn Boyles, Aubrey, Levi, Cole, and Ryler; sister, Jackie Boyles Walker (Bob) of Dublin, Georgia; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, Sara Sue Boyles Wood.
Graveside funeral services will be held 12 noon, Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Hampton Cemetery, Holly Street East, Hampton.
The family will receive friends during a time of visitation Saturday morning from 10:30 until 11:30 at THE BRICE W.
