Charles Daniel "Danny" Bratcher, 55, of Andrews, SC, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on September 8, 1969, in Georgetown, SC, Danny was the son of Sylvia Bratcher. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Tina McKenzie Bratcher; his maternal grandparents, Daniel A. and Ruby Bratcher; his mother-in-law, Eunice McKenzie; two uncles, Billy Bratcher and Charles W. Bratcher; one aunt, Klata Bratcher, and his mother Sylvia Bratcher.
Danny was a hard worker who took pride in everything he did. He had a deep love for the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman. A dedicated and successful fox hunter for many years, Danny was well known in the hunting community for his passion and perseverance.
He is survived by his daughter, Macy B. Davis; his son, Matthew Bratcher (Krissie); and five grandchildren: Annalee Davis, Jameson Davis, Isabella Winter, Averlee Winter, and Ridge Winter. Danny is also survived by his sister, Sara Bratcher Thacker (Michael), his father-in-law, Winston Mckenzie; his sister-in-law, Cindy Chavis (Jeffrey); his brother-in-law, Scott McKenzie; and four uncles: David Bratcher (Adell), George Bratcher (Kay), Gene Bratcher, and Wayne Bratcher (Nancy). He leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who will cherish his memory.
A celebration of life for Danny will be held at Saints Delight Pentecostal Holiness Church on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 4:00 PM, with visitation two hours before the service at the church. Danny will be laid to rest at Andrews Memorial Cemetery. A reception will follow at The Christian Fortress.
