Phillip Raymond Ward, 72, of the Earles Community of Andrews, passed away on Thursday, December 5t, 2024.
Born July 25, 1952 in Georgetown South Carolina, he was the son of Walter Raymond Ward and Lena Mae Driggers Ward. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Phillip was a lifelong member of the Hutson Bay Hunting Club, where he created many friendships. He was a dedicated wire drawer at Andrews Wire Mill for more than 30 years. He then retired from Saferack in 2018, where he worked in shipping and receiving. He was a devoted family man and was always up for the laughing and joking with his grands.
Left to cherish his precious memories are his wife, Nanette Wheeler Ward of the home; his daughter, Billie Ward Camlin (Andy) of Andrews; his grandchildren, Cody Andrew Camlin (Mary Kathryn Wilder), Caitlin Dru Camlin, and Emorey Ward Camlin; his sister, Mary Sue Ward Creel (George) of Florence, SC; and many nieces and nephews.
A special thank you to the neighbors (Dylan, Lyndsay, and Ellie), and all of his friends and family for reaching out with so much love and support.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Saturday, December 7 in the Andrews Chapel of Mayer-Ethridge Funeral Home and Crematory, 409 S. Morgan Ave, Andrews, SC. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 8 in Andrews Memorial Cemetery.
