Charles was my American father when I was an exchange student at his home in Coldwater, Michigan. They were very kind to me along with his wife Lois. They took me to different tennis tournaments all over the state. They gave me a great family life example that I still embrace today. My condolences to the rest of the family. Sincerely, Felipe

We only met Charles a few times, but we were always impressed by the immense respect his son, Andy (and his wife, Tracy,) held for him. That only comes naturally with strong family ties and examples shown over years. Andy and Tracy, we are so sorry for your deep loss.
