Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home & Crematory - SalinaCharles Bruce Brodock, Jr., 63, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Charles was born on July 5, 1962, in Tachikawa, Japan, to Bonnie Lee (Crook) Chipman and Charles Bruce Brodock, Sr.
Charles had a deep love for helping others and took great pride in his work. He spent much of his life in construction, enjoying work that allowed him to be outdoors. It was nearly impossible to drive through the area without passing a place he helped build or improve—a testament to his hard work and dedication.
Survivors include his wife, Matery “Mickie” Brodock; his daughter, Jennifer Bell (Bronson); a niece, Charity Gibson; a sister, Rhonda Warhurst (Frank); and his grandchildren, Max Charles Bell and TyLee Bell, along with numerous other family members who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Bonnie Lee Brodock.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, April 3, 2026, at Gypsum Hill Cemetery in Salina, Kansas.
