Charles "Chuck" Lee Bryant
May 26, 1952 - March 23, 2025
Chuck Bryant, 72, of Summerville, SC, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 26, 1952, in Lubbock, TX, to Charlie and Katherine Bryant.
Chuck was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who cherished time spent with his family. He was married to the love of his life Nancy Bryant for 52 years, and together they built a life filled with love and laughter. He took great pride in his children and grandchildren, always offering wisdom, support, and encouragement.
Throughout his life, Chuck was known for his kindness, sense of humor, strong work ethic, and deep love for his family. He dedicated 24 years to the military, 25 years to law enforcement, and 22 years to corporate America, earning the respect of colleagues and friends alike. In his free time, he enjoyed working on classic cars, riding horses and motorcycles, serving on a HOA board, traveling, and, most importantly, playing with his grandchildren.
Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Nancy; his children, Kelly Conley (Richard), Kevin Bryant (Britney), and Adam Bryant (Tiffany); his grandchildren, Lauren Hayes (Andrew), Hannah Litchfield (Josh), Maddie Conley, Emma Bryant, Ethan Bryant, Ryder Bryant, and Lincoln Bryant; and his great-grandchildren, Bryant Hayes, Wren Hayes, Saige Litchfield, and Noah Litchfield. He is also survived by his sister, Ann Barber (Jim), his mother-in-law, Mary Brewer, many nieces and nephews, brothers- and sisters-in-law, and many extended family members and dear friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 29th at 12 pm at Ashley Ridge High School (9800 Delmar Highway) in Summerville, SC. A military service will follow under the Oaks in the Ponds subdivision (326 Hundred Oaks Parkway) In lieu of flowers, Chuck requests donations be made to Ashley Ridge Church building fund in his honor. For years, Pastor Jenn Williams and the entire church have meant so much to Chuck and his entire Summerville family! He loved volunteering on the safety team.
Chuck will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who loved him.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Hannah and I worked together at The Ponds YMCA, and everyone knew much Chuck treasured his family. He always had a kind word for everyone. Lifting all of you up in prayer.

To the Bryant family,
I had the great pleasure to work with Chuck at AutoZone. He was a special person who always showed kindness and compassion. Chuck was one of the good ones, and I feel very lucky to have known him. God bless you all and give you comfort during this time.
