A Celebration of Life Service for Deloris Dean Bryant age 93 of Branson, MO will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at the Open Door United Methodist Church, 6238 East State Hwy 86 in Blue Eye with Brian Mitchell officiating. Arrangements and cremation are under the direction of Greenlawn Funeral Home in Branson, MO.

She passed away peacefully on August 28, 2025 at her home in Branson, MO.

She was born on Aug 6, 1932 in Lexington, Missouri the daughter of Irwin and Eva Vickers.

She attended Central Missouri State University and graduated with a degree in Education in 1953.

On September 5, 1953 she married Nelson A Bryant Jr. They were blessed with two daughters Cindy and Crystal.

She taught science for 11 years and was a High School Librarian for 10 years. She also served as President of the Kansas Association of School Librarians. Up until her retirement in 1995 from Hugoton Schools they lived in Hugoton Kansas..

She enjoyed traveling and watching her grandchildren compete in sports and she would not miss a dance recital, music concert or graduation. She loved to fish and also was an avid china painter.

Deloris is survived by her daughters Cynthia Ann Bryant, Branson MO, Crystal Lynn Mitchell and husband Brian Mitchell, Blue Eye MO and 5 grandchildren, Jordan Ridge, Alexis Reagan, Christian Mitchell, Andrew Mitchell and Isaiah Mitchell and 3 great grandsons Mason Mitchell Ridge, Thatcher Mitchell, Hayden Mitchell and 4 great granddaughters Ivy Mitchell, Preslie Reagan, Alex Ridge and Melody Ridge. She was preceded in death by her father, Irwin Leslie Vickers, mother, Eva E Vickers and husband Nelson Bryant Jr. Deloris was a loving mother, grandma and yaya and a friend to all. Deloris was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Branson MO. Deloris will be laid to rest at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, MO with her husband Nelson who served in the Army.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the ASPCA and South Central Missouri Fellowship of Christian Athletes
