Birthplace: Erick Oklahoma

Parents: Charles Homer Casey and Bertha Estelle Casey

He met Annette Cross, the love of his life, in Chillicothe, Texas who would later became Mrs. Charles Casey at her dad's snow cone stand/ice house while he was there for wheat harvest. They were married months later on August 24th, 1961 in Vernon, Texas. He spent the majority of his earlier life as a farm hand over most of the Texas Panhandle and North Texas before transitioning over to a truck driver for a grain company in Vernon, Texas before moving to Childress in 1990, where he took a job with OK Concrete until retirement. After retirement, he spent most of his time working on and rebuilding lawn mowers, working word find books and watching the western channel on TV. He loved seeing his children, Nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren along with his wife of 63 years of marriage.

He is survived by:

Wife - Annette Casey of Childress, Texas

Son - Troy Casey and wife Tracie of Childress, Texas

Daughter - Kimberly Bivens of Childress, Texas

Son - Dareck Casey and wife, Kristen of Childress, Texas

Son - Michael Casey and fiancé, Jennifer Kindle of Childress, Texas

Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Bertha Estelle Casey; brother, Homer Casey; sister, Alma Price; half-brother, Dwight Stringfellow and daughter-in-law, Carla Casey.

At this time, the family wishes to express gratitude for the care given to him by Wellington Care Center, Gentiva Hospice and CRMC Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to CRMC Hospice of Childress at 901US Hwy 83 North, Childress, Texas, 79201.
