Tom was a brother Marine, a friend and good man. He will be missed. Tom was a great volunteer who made things happen, he didn't just talk about it, he did it! He was a fellow believer, a man of faith and we will see each other again...in the next life. Semper Fi! Ron Brandon USMC

Tom was a proud and active member of the Mt. Hood Cherokees that met monthly in Portland. He served our group on the Council for several years. Tom was always generous with his time, and his stories, and was genuinely proud to be Cherokee. He consistently gathered with us for our monthly meetings, even via Zoom during the pandemic. In 2013 Tom received the warrior award from our Cherokee Chief Bill John Baker for his service in the Marine Corps. I am truly saddened to hear that my friend and fellow Cherokee and fellow veteran has walked on.

Tom was my neighbor and one of my close friends. I learned so much from him about life, humility, trees, fish, and gardening. I will miss his smile and laugh for the remaining days of my life. Until I see you again my friend.
