Chas was born in Niagara Falls NY on April 4, 1946 to the late Charles, Betty (Westcott) Olver.
He was predeceased by his sister Wendy and brother Gary Olver, also a step son Ryan Surrency.
Chas is survived by his loving wife of 21 years Evie, his siblings Louise Wasko (Gary), Nancy Ramage(Duffy), Bruce Olver(Marge), his two children Breanne(Rob) Demchuck of Florida and Ryan (Amanda) Olver of Louisiana, two step children Jami (Elliott) Ory and Stephen (Holly) Surrency also of Louisiana, six grandchildren, seven step grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Chas truly loved all of his family and dear friends, especially his grandchildren that he was so proud of.
Chuck attended Lewiston Porter School (Lewiston NY) and graduated in 1966. He was truly an "out door guy". He learned to swim at a young age and went on to be a Life Guard, Swimming Instructor and was on the school's Swim Team through his high school years. He grew up hunting and fishing with his father and brother and passed this passion onto his son and older grandchildren.
Chas had an artistic side and used that in his business endeavors over the years.
Chas left this world and his loving family on October 27, 2024 after a trying year of health issues with his family by his side as much as was possible and his loving wife never leaving his side. He most certainly has gone to his heavenly home and was one of the most loving and giving persons here on earth.
