Charles W. “Chuck” Crago, age 90, of Meadville, passed away Friday morning December 19, 2025, in Meadville Medical Center.
He was born in Guys Mills on February 5, 1935, the son of John and Mildred (Hoyte) Crago.
On December 8, 1957, Chuck married the former Nancy Willey, she survives.
He was a 1953 graduate of Randolph High School and proudly served his country in the United States Army.
He was employed as a salesman at Goodyear for many years and previously was a Courier for ACL for 20 years.
He was a member First Presbyterian Church, Meadville and Saegertown American Legion. Chuck was an umpire at Sertoma and a member of Sertoma Club. He enjoyed watching girls’ basketball and Pittsburgh Steelers.
In addition to his wife of 68 years; he is survived by a daughter, Jill Burchfield and her husband Don of Conneaut Lake; two sons, Jeffrey Crago and his wife Tammy of Chesterfield, VA, Jody Crago and his wife Stefanie of Gilbert, AZ; four siblings, Helen Gross, Alice Humes, Richard Crago, and James Crago and his wife Dorothy; seven grandchildren, Adam, Carly, Amelia, Jack, Ryan, Dominic, and Libbey; a great grandson, Rowan; several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Paul and Robert Crago.
Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Inurnment will be private in Wayland Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to ROSE AND WAID FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, INC. 581 CHESTNUT ST. MEADVILLE
