Yoder-Culp Funeral HomeCharles E. Stults III “CJ”, 40, of Goshen died Wednesday, November 5, 2025.
He was born October 6, 1985 in Elkhart to Charles E. Stults, Jr. and Cindy (Layman) Stults.
For those who knew CJ, he had a big personality with a kind heart and a fierce love of his nieces and nephews. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in political sciences and adored all things politics. After CJ’s diagnoses with MS and heart disease in his early 20s, he fell into severe depression and suffered from mental illness. Even during these dark times and the darkest of days, he found ways to show up for his beloved mother, helping run errands, get groceries, do chores, and being a trusted confidant. He never fully found his way in the world, but he was deeply loved and his dry and highly witty sense of humor will be severely missed.
In lieu of cards or flowers, please consider making a donation in CJ’s name to 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline;https://afsp.org/.
CJ is survived by his parents and two sisters, Jennifer (Jaime) Muñoz of Goshen, and Missy (Robert Froncko) Stults of Ann Arbor, Michigan; and several beloved nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025 from 11am-1pm at the family home. All are welcome to come and share stories, food, and fellowship.”
