Charles G. Clark

Charles G. Clark, 87, of Plainfield, passed away on March 5, 2024.  He was born in Hendricks County on October 30, 1936 to the late Floyd and Flossie Clark.  Charlie was a railroad clerk for CSX before retiring.  He enjoyed coaching Little League Baseball in Danville.  Charlie was an avid IU fan especially the basketball team.  He loved spending time with his family.  Charlie was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Clark; son, David Clark; brother, Morris Pike; sister, Rosalie Dick, and a granddaughter, Melanie Hunsicker.  Funeral services will be on Monday, March 11, 2024 at 1:00 pm in Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home where friends may visit from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm.  Burial will follow in Stilesville Cemetery.  Survivors include his children, Jay (Ranita) Clark, Christine Levandoski, Steven Clark, Cindy Freeman and Johnathan (Thereasa) Clark; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren..
