Charles Cooper Jr. Obituary
Charles "Charlie" Cooper, Jr., age 71, of Lebanon, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, in Lebanon. He was born on July 26, 1952, in Charlestown, Indiana to the late Charles Cooper, Sr. and Verna Jean (Pierce Cooper) McDaniel who survives.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy Cooper; father, Charles Cooper, Sr.; stepfather, Irvin McDaniel.
Charlie is survived by his five children, Charles Cooper III (Ladean) of Louisville, KY, Shawn Christopher Cooper (Fawn) of Columbus, Ohio, Ryan Patrick Cooper of Petersburg, VA, Casey Jared Cooper (Megan) of Cox's Creek, KY, and Joseph Hamilton Cooper (Veronia) of Bradfordsville, KY; his mother, Verna Jean (Pierce Cooper) McDaniel; significant other, Jean McMahan of Campbellsville, KY; brother, Jerry Cooper and sister, Tina Bradshaw both of Charlestown IN; along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am. Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Lebanon Methodist Church. Visitation will be held from 5:00-8:00 pm. on Friday, June 21, 2024, at Bosley Funeral Home (246 S. Proctor Knott Ave., Lebanon, KY) and again on Saturday, June 22, 2024, from 10:00 am until the time of service at Lebanon Methodist Church (236 N. Spalding Avenue, Lebanon, KY).
Additional visitation will be held at Grayson Funeral Home (893 High Street, Charlestown, IN) from 2:00-4:00 pm with a short funeral service to follow, on Saturday afternoon, June 22, 2024. Interment to follow in Cooper Family Cemetery.
