Charles Henry Cooper was born February 27, 1953 in Cambridge Maryland to the late Emma Jane and Gilbert Cooper. Charles Cooper entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Coastal Hospice by the Lake in Salisbury, Maryland.
He was born and raised in Dorchester County where he attended the public schools there. He was employed at English's Grill Family Restaurant and Millie's.
Charles had a passion for food and loved to cook, that he did, for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Emma Jean Cooper, daughter, Nakia Cooper; four sisters, Jessie Cooper, Beulah Cooper, Elizabeth Watford, and Delores Sharp; four brothers; Roy Johnson, George Cooper, Edward Cooper and Louis Cooper.
He leaves a legacy of love to those who cherish his precious memory with one son, Charles Cooper, Jr., (Carrie) of Hickory, NC; one daughter, Tanzannica Chester of (Leroy Chester) of Cambridge, MD; thirteen grandchildren; Kadijah Cropper (Cambridge, MD), De'Airra Crooper (Cambridge, MD); Glen Cropper Jr. (Easton,MD); Leroy Chester III (East New Market, MD); Kobe Cooper (Hickory, NC);
Jamia Cooper (Hickory, NC); Jazzmannica Macer (Donald Macer) Cambridge, MD; Leontray Chester (Cambridge, MD); Hykeem
Cropper (Salisbury, MD); Jazzmyeisha Chester (Cambridge, MD);
De Iveion Sharp (Philadelphia, PA); Ke'Iveion Sharp (Cambridge, MD); Leonbre Chester (Cambridge, MD); and thirteen great-grandchildren with three on the way.
Charles also leaves to mourn his loss, two sisters; Betty Camper (Clifford Camper) and Irene Beasley (Cicero Beasley) of St. Michaels and a special nephew, Raymond Cooper and niece, Katy Adkins both of Cambridge and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
