Charles Edward Dillard, 69, of Boiling Springs, died Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Corpus Christi Medical Center. A native of Spartanburg, he was born on January 16, 1956, a son of the late Billy Charles and Edith Mauldine Miller Dillard.
He was formerly employed by Werner Trucking Company.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Lavonne Nelson Dillard, sons, Matthew Dillard and Shawn Dillard; stepdaughter, Tara Cooper; grandchildren, Kimberly Dillard, Nolan Stone, Mattox Jolley and Lance Champion; sister, Edie Marie Poteat (Marty); special friend, Emily Snipes and her family; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Harry Ray Miller.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 to 2:45 pm on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Floyd’s Boiling Springs Chapel, 4161 Highway 9 North, Boiling Springs, SC 29316. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 pm in the chapel conducted by the Rev. Keith Davis.
