Charles Drumsta Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc. Lilburn-Tucker Chapel from Apr. 20 to May 3, 2023.
Charles Thomas Drumsta Jr., 72 of Snellville, GA. passed away Saturday April 15, 2023 at the home of Julie Britt's family. Charles had been battling pancreatic cancer for several years.
Born in Kingston, PA. on July 26, 1950, he was the son of the late Charles Thomas and Mildred Barbara (Sadonick) Drumsta.
Charlie was a graduate of Kingston High School 1968. He had a strong group of friends he grew up with and they affectionately nick-named him 'Strud'. After graduation Charlie went straight to working and had several jobs at a Leather Factory and the family Carpet Center.
In 1986 he would move to Georgia where he started work with Rockwell International (later Boeing) Missile Systems Division. He would work there until 2013 and would be one of the last employees before the plant shutdown. His time at Rockwell is where he met his Girlfriend of 30+ years Julie Britt. He would later move to Lanier Worldwide and then finish his Career at EMS/Honeywell until his retirement in 2018. Charlie was known by all of his colleagues as a kind and hard worker and someone they could depend on.
Charlie was known for loving to tinker around fixing lawn mowers, tillers, and anything mechanical. He loved to garden, shop to find a bargain and listen to music. He is most known for his willingness to help friends and family, and would do so without hesitation. His kind spirit will be missed by all that loved him.
He is survived by Julie Britt Lilburn, GA. and family (Beverly/Nancy). Sister Melanie Leonard and her husband Larry, Essington, PA. Brother-in-law Robert Mazzatosta of Shavertown, PA. Nephew Sean Mazzatosta and wife Jackie of Plains, PA. And their daughters and Charlie's Great nieces Alia and Cloe Mazzatosta.
Also, in loving memory of his sister Donna Mazzatosta who recently passed on March 14, 2023.
