Charles Easterling Obituary
1929 - 2023
Charles Easterling, 94, of Grayson, KY passed away, Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Carter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Grayson. He was born February 4, 1929 in Grayson to the late Charles and Mabel Shuff Easterling.
Charles worked at Mansbach Metal as a Burner. He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Eileen Mayo Easterling; three sisters, Britta Felty, Louella Prince and Mae Boggs; three brothers, Ted Easterling, Duddy Easterling and James Robert Easterling; two stepsons, Spunky Davis and Van Davis; a step-daughter, Dena Shepherd.
He is survived by a stepson, Phil (Connie) Davis of Grayson; a stepson-in-law, Fred Shepherd of Grayson; four step-grandchildren, Ginger (Terry) Adams, Freddie (Rhonda) Shepherd, Bridget (Mark) Clendenin ), and Chad Shepherd all of Grayson; and seven step-great-grandchildren; and eleven step-great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 7, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at the Sparks Funeral Home, Mark Griffin, minister. Burial will follow in Mayo Cemetery.
Visitation will be at 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
