Steven Jeffrey Stone

Steven J. "Jeff" Stone, 63, of Flatwoods, KY departed this life on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. Jeff was born on August 5. 1962, in Grayson, KY, the son of the late Ova and Maxine Kees Stone. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, David Stone.

Jeff worked hard and was a truck driver for many years. Jeff was also a skilled mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and NASCAR racing. He also found excitement in drag racing. Nothing brought Jeff more joy than his family, he was known to be the BEST GRANDPA EVER!

Jeff is survived by two daughters, Marlia (Blake) Porter of Flatwoods, KY and Sara Webb of Ashland, KY; four grandchildren, Mason, Bree, Brady, and Jedrick; two sisters, Garnet (Ron) Lescault of Woodbridge, VA and Helen (Roger) Seagraves of Rush, KY; special niece and nephews, Coleena Elam , Eric (Bridgett) Stone both of Rush, KY, and Kevin Seagraves of Olive Hill, KY; his best friend, Brent Miller of Florida and a host of extended family and friends that mourn his passing.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial gift can be sent to Community Hospice in Ashland, KY at 1480 Carter Avenue Ashland, Kentucky 41101.
