Alonzo 's Life Story
Charles Stanley Emory departed this life Sunday, March 23, 2025. He was 65 years old, born on April 10, 1959, to the late Hattie Emory and Daniel Pierce.
"Charlie" attended Queen Anne's County public schools, graduating in 1977. He was employed by Queen Anne's County Board of Education for 44 years. He also worked for Steve Wilson doing various jobs and was currently working at Corsica Telecom for Claude "Skip" Anthony. Charlie's main passion was cooking, earning him the name "The Grill Master."
Charlie was a member of New Life Community United Methodist Church and was a member of the choir. He truly loved the Lord. To ask Charlie how he was doing his reply was always "Blessed by the best."
Charlie was preceded in death by his daughter Danielle Emory, brothers Fredrick Emory and Gordon Emory, sisters Cynthia Emory Ryans and Frances Emory. He is survived by his loving daughter Shantel Emory, granddaughter Shaniyah Durham, grandson Kaiden Maestre, brother Gary Emory, sisters Blondina Emory, Linda Brummell (Gary), and Bertina Emory, a special friend Betty Rochester and a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
