Charlie was a resident of New Milford since 1958. He owned and operated Colonial Auto Body in Closter, NJ for 39 years. A proud United States Navy veteran, he was a member of the American Legion Post 111 and the USS Tutuila ARG-4 Association, as well as the Bergen and Rockland Historical Train Society.
Visiting hours will be Friday, July 25, 2025 from 4-7 PM. Family and friends can gather at 9:30 AM on Saturday, July 26, 2025 with a burial service to follow at 11 AM at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Charlie's memory may be made to Tunnels 2 Towers, t2t.org, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org. www.pizzifuneralhome.com

To Charlie, thank you for giving a 17 year old kid a chance at a career in the Auto body Business in 1975. Teaching me a trade that would last 15 years, also knowing you as a friend for many years. Thank you Billy Oliver.

Charlie was a good friend and shipmate to everyone who knew him. We had a lot of good times together at the USS Tutuila reunions.
Cheryl and I are praying for his family and friends, that they may find comfort and strength in this time of grief.
I thank you, Lord, for the life of our shipmate. May he rest in your eternal peace.
Charlie you will be missed.
