Charles F. Fenwick
1938-2026
Charles F. Fenwick, 87, of New Fairfield, husband of the late Corrine (Goldstein) Fenwick, died on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Maplewood of Stony Hill, Bethel, CT.
Mr. Fenwick was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Charles and Margaret (Donovan) Fenwick and raised in Valley Stream, L. I, NY. He attended NY schools received his B.B.A. degree from St. John's University and his Master's degree from Western CT State University.
Mr. Fenwick retired from General Electric Corporation after thirty years of service in their finance department. He later becare a State Marshall at the State Superior Court for eighteen years based in Danbury.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his son in law, Michael D. Damici of Bethlehem, CT, a brother Robert Fenwick of Valley Stream, L.I., NY and by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Fenwick was predeceased by a daughter, Dr. Melissa Fenwick and a son Daniel Fenwick.
Friends will be received in the Jowdy-Kane Funeral Home, 9 Granville Ave., Danbury on Sunday, March 8, 2026, from1PM to 3PM.
Private burial services will take place in Mountain View Cemetery, New Fairfield, CT.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Dr. Melissa Fenwick/Dr. Harold Schramm Scholarship Fund at Western CT State University, 181 White St., Danbury, CT 06810 would be appreciated. To send a message of condolence to the family, kindly visit http://www.jowdykanefuneralhome.com
