Charles Garrett Obituary
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oliver and Lillian Garrett.
He will be remembered as a faithful husband, father, friend, dedicated educator at Cove and Cherry Street Elementary Schools, and Shaw Adult Center for a total of 34 years. He was known for his servant heart as he volunteered with Children and Youth and Hardly Able Wheelchair Ramp Ministries of Lynn Haven Methodist Church for decades. He also served in the U.S. Army National Guard for nine years.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Garrett; children, Shannon Garrett, Patrick Garrett (Kelli); grandchildren, Joseph, Brooke, and Brent Garrett; sister, Lecile Garrett Oliver.
Funeral services will be held on July 24,2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Lynn Haven Methodist Church, 3203 Minnesota Avenue in Lynn Haven. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be at Evergreen Memorial Gardens following the service.
In lieu of flowers please make gifts to Lynn Haven Methodist Church Youth, Missions, or Hardly Able Ministries.
