He was born April 10, 1937 in Eunice, MO, the son of the late James Everett and Elsie Mae (Boyd) Gaston. He married Karen Williams June 7, 1991. She preceded him in death August 27, 2019.
He is survived by two children: Robin Gaston (Wes Verble) of Fenton, MO and Patty (Bob) Sanders of House Springs, MO; one step-son, Frank (Michele) Williams of Kansas City, MO; and seven grandchildren: Bob (Mandy) Sanders, Christi Verble (Klayton Kaiser), Brittany (Cailean) Dunn, Shannon (Matt) Schloessman, Amy Sanders, Brandon Williams and Seth Williams; and five great-grandchildren: Grady and Hailey Dunn, Nora and Max Schloessman and Colton Kaiser.
Besides his parents and spouse, he was preceded in death by three siblings: Bernice Dixon, Dana Ellis and Dean Gaston.
Bob lived his adult life in the Fenton and House Springs area and worked as a cabinet maker at AGCO Cabinet Shop. After retiring, Bob and Karen moved back to his childhood home in Eunice, MO, and spent every winter in Clewiston, FL where he fished almost every day.
