Charles was born on April 18, 1936 and passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016. Charles was a resident of Spartanburg, South Carolina at the time of his passing. He was married to Nancy Jo Hallman. Visitation will be 12:00 ' 12:45 PM Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel, 2075 East Main Street, Spartanburg, SC 29307. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM in the Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Jan King. So many occasions associated with Dahlia Society brought Gene and Nancy to the needs for the SHOW! Both Jim and I (Louise) were involved by their side and enjoyed their happiness that growers exude with the outstanding Dahlia flowers...such gentle souls! At peace knowing Nancy is consoled in Faith Understanding Gene is Heaven sent! Proud to be called friends
