Charles Richard Grant, age 84, of Talking Rock, Georgia, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026 at his home. He was born March 11, 1941 in Tate, Georgia and was a member of Free Hope Baptist Church.
Charles is survived by his wife, Jackie Grant of Talking Rock; daughter, Niki Eubanks of Talking Rock; grandchildren, Darla and Jason Satterfield, Cody and Emily Grant, Kayla Eubanks; great-grandchildren, Grant Satterfield, Addy Grant, Peyton Satterfield, Cole Grant; special great-grandchild, Teegan Walker. Other family members also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Agnes Jones and his son, Tony Grant.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 24, 2026 in the Chapel of Roper Funeral Home with Reverend Jason Satterfield, Reverend Autry Dean, and Reverend Brody Buckner officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Tony Aaron, Ricky Ray, Cory Eubanks, Joey Jones, Billy Buckner, and Dave Odum. Honorary Pallbearers are Ralph Jones, Ronnie Weaver, James Setser, Phillip James, and Harold McDaniel.
The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home, Friday, January 23, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m.
The family will accept flowers or memorial donations may be made to Free Hope Baptist Church.
Arrangements are entrusted to the Staff of Roper Funeral Home and Crematory.
