Charles "Charlie" C. Greer, 70, of LaGrange, IN, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, October 16, 2025.
Charlie was born on March 25, 1955, in Peru, IN, to Donald and Gayle (Coomler) Greer, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Greer was United States Army Veteran.
He lived many years in LaGrange County and worked as a forklift driver for the Walmart Distribution Center in Garrett, IN.
Charlie loved spending time in his garage tinkering and working on cars. He had a passion for motorcycles and classic cars, and as an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and shooting his gun.
On February 4, 1989, in Plato, IN, he married Sandra K. Adkins.
Surviving is his wife, Sandra Greer of LaGrange; his children, Kristin Greer of Wolcottville, IN; Brandon (Rachel) Greer of Auburn, IN; Nathan Greer of LaGrange, IN; and Shannon Rowe of North Carolina; a grandson, Brody Greer; and his siblings, Carole Bachman of LaGrange, IN; Curtis Greer of Hartford City, IN; Stephen Greer of Fort Wayne, IN; Linda Collins of Howe, IN; Mary Salzbrun of Moody, AL; Cheryl Gingerich of Kokomo, IN; Jeff Greer of LaGrange, IN; and Rich Greer of Huntsville, AL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; an aunt and uncle who helped raise him, Ray and Virginia Coomler; and a brother, David Greer.
A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Frurip-May Funeral Home, 309 W. Michigan St., LaGrange, IN.
