Charles Roland "Butch" Grisham, Jr. passed away at his home in Olive Branch, MS on Tuesday, July 8, 2025. Friends are invited to a visitation with the family on Saturday, July 12, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home of Olive Branch, MS. There will be a graveside service held at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Moriah Cemetery in Troy, TN
Charles was born on November 4, 1942 to Charles Roland Grisham, Sr. and Grace Regeon Grisham Hollis. He graduated from Obion High School in 1960. He married Miss Julia Carolyn Inman on July 19, 1964. In July of 1966, he was called to war in Vietnam, where he served until 1968. Upon returning home, he found work at the Firestone plant in Memphis, TN, building tires. He was there for over 14 years when the plant closed. In 1989, he made his last career change, driving 18-wheelers for Miller Trucking until his retirement in November 2017.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Grisham and Grace Hollis; sister, Ann Caughron; and three nieces.
Charles is survived by his wife of 61 years, Julia Grisham; his two children, Holly Caroline and Charles Heath; and four grandchildren, Caleb, Eli, Georgia, and Stafford.

Mr. Grisham was like a second dad to me. He was a good man. When I told them that I was naming my son, Charles Cameron, he winked at me and said, "That is a good name". My son told me today that he members talking to him over at his house in Olive Branch and that he gave him the first "Tab" cola that he has ever had. He said, "Mom, it was the worst Coke I ever had, but I drank it because he gave it to me". Lol. I have tears in my eyes thinking of all the years that I have known all of them and how much they were like my second family. I have known them since I was 8 years old, I am now near to 57. It saddens my heart for all of them and I want everyone of you to know how sorry I am for your loss and that I am praying that God brings you comfort. Mr. Grisham was a good man and will always be remembered. I love you all. Hugs and prayers.
