Charles "Chuck" Gustine, 96, of Benton Harbor passed away Saturday, Dec. 13, 2025, at his home.

Chuck was born May 31, 1929, in Battle Creek, to Lester and Lilah (Zeller) Gustine. He graduated from Battle Creek High School. On Aug. 31, 1947, he married Tresa Weinert in Battle Creek. Chuck worked as an engineer for Clark Equipment for many years. Outside of work, he enjoyed golfing, bowling, woodworking, and old cars – especially restoring and working on them. He also loved drag racing, attending car shows, and was a proud member of the Southwest Michigan Car Collectors. Chuck was also very active in the St. Joseph Elks Lodge #541 where he served as the Past Exalted Ruler.
Chuck is survived by his daughters: Gail Garrison and Denise (Dennis) Wade; grandchildren: Jenni (Jason) Swartz, Kari (Ryan) Norton, Allen (Alicia) Kizman, Christopher (Shannon) Garrison, Kimberly (Fred) Guthrie, Kelly Smith and Justin Wade; 19 great-grandchildren; many great-great grandchildren; and brother, David Gustine.
The family would like to also extend a special thank you to Shawna Kelley for her compassion, dedication, and loving care for Chuck as well as Heather from Corewell Hospice.
Chuck was preceded by his parents; wife, Tresa Gustine; daughter, Becky Kizman; granddaughter, Cathy Borrelli and two brothers.
