Charles Max Hacke was born May 15, 1948 in Granite City, IL. He was the son of Frederick Sr. and Maxine (nee Forester) Hacke. He died on September 25, 2023 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson, Festus, MO at the age of 75 years. He is survived by is daughter, Kristina (James) Easton, Nashua, N.H.; one grandson, Ryan Easton; and a special friend, Crystal Taylor, Jefferson City, MO. He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carol (nee Atkisson) Hacke; and two brothers, Frederick Hacke, Jr. and Larry Hacke. Charles was a master plumber and served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. He was an Eagle Scout, enjoyed fly fishing, the Old West, history, and he was a patriot.
