Charles L. Jack Hagerman, 2160 Crestwood Drive, Owensboro, died Thursday, December 21, 2006, at Owensboro Medical Health System as a result of an automobile accident. He was born July 28, 1929 to the late Charles T. and Pauline Pinkston Hagerman in Akron, OH. He owned and operated Hagerman Plumbing, Heating and Cooling business for 53 years, which he started on July 1, 1953. He had been a member of the Kentucky Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Association, past president of Owensboro Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Association and a previous member of Owensboro Home Builders Association and the Owensboro Sales and Marketing Association. He was presented District Achievement Award for distinguished service and recognition for community and appreciation from Kentucky Association of Plumbing, Heating and Cooling Contractors. He was a graduate of Brescia University, a member of Century Christian Church and a member of the building committee at the church. He was a Master Mason of Lodge # 130 since 1951 and was a previous member of the Shriners. He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War. Jacks life enjoyments and pleasures have been family, friends, business, traveling and going to the Kentucky Derby.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lloyd Hagerman in 1975 and Herman Hagerman in 2006.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Janada; a son, Bruce Hagerman and his wife, Donna of Owensboro, a daughter, Pam Mulligan and her husband, Bill of Owensboro; three grandchildren, Justin and Cody Hagerman, and Ryan Ziemer; two brothers, Bill Hagerman and his friend, Mary Roham of Akron, OH, Don Hagerman and his friend, Sheila Campbell of Owensboro; a sister, Doris Atherton and her husband, Jay of Calhoun; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, at Century Christian Church with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, where Military Honors will be given by VFW Post 696. Visitation will be 2:00 until 8:00 PM Tuesday and after 10:00 AM Wednesday at Glenn Funeral Home. Masonic services will be 7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Century Christian Church Memorial Fund, 1301 Tamarack Road, Owensboro, KY 42301.
