Charles T. Harper

Charles T. Harper, 73, of Ocilla, Georgia, died Monday, September 8, 2025, at his residence.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Lax Holiness Church in Coffee County, Georgia, with the Rev. Randall Merritt officiating, eulogies will be delivered by Andy Harper and Ashton Harper. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends, Wednesday evening, from 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home in Ocilla. The body will also lie in state at the church from 10 AM until the funeral hour.
Mr. Harper was born on November 14, 1951, in Irwin County, Georgia, to the late Elisha and Dessie Allen Harper. He retired from Harper House moving in Ocilla, where he worked most of his life. Mr. Harper was a member of Lax Holiness Church where he also served as a deacon.
He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mamie Pate Harper.
