Obituary of Charles H. Hoffman

Charles Hoffman, age 68, of Marcus Hook, PA, passed away on January 10, 2026, at Riddle Memorial Hospital.

Born in Chester, PA, Charles was raised in Marcus Hook by his late parents, Charles and Mary Jensen Hoffman, and remained a lifelong resident of the community he loved. He attended Chichester High School and went on to dedicate 39 years of service to Alan McIlvain Company, where he worked as a supervisor before retiring in 2022.

Charles was a devoted fan of Philadelphia sports, loved music-especially country music-and enjoyed playing the drums. He found joy in drinking a Miller High Life and donating the can tabs he collected to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House. But above all else, Charlie treasured time spent with his family. He was especially proud of his three daughters, affectionately nicknamed "Charlie's Angels."

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Jensen, and his sister, Kathy Hoffman.

He is survived by his loving children: Carol Hoffman, Patricia (Kenny) Hoffman, and Jessica (Steve) Hoffman; his siblings Jackie Emery, Jim (Donna) Hoffman, and Nancy Smith; his former wife, Sharon Hoffman; his eight grandchildren: Shane, Brooke, Ronan, Jacob, Nolan, Nathan, Ella, and Landon; and many nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Road, Garnet Valley, PA 19060. A funeral service will begin at 12:00 PM. Interment will be private.
