Charles Harold Howard, 97, of Cleveland, TN passed away on October 23, 2023. He was born on October 14, 1926. Charles was a longtime businessman with Cleveland Plumbing Supply, which ultimately became Wholesale Supply Group. His family was most important to him and he loved nothing more than spending time with them. Charles was a lifelong member of Big Spring Methodist Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 75 years, Pearl Howard; parents Walter and Leona Howard, brother Vaughn Howard and sister Gwen Srite.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his sons Steve Howard (Carolyn) and Phil Howard (Lisa); six grandchildren: Lacy Laman, Jennifer Kirkpatrick, Kyle Howard, Paul Howard, Brian Howard, Chris Wolfe; eight great grandchildren: Lillian, Maxton, Caitlyn, Cole, Amelia, Anna, Ethan, and Eli; sister in law Betty Howard; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
His family would like to thank his caregivers for all the loving care he was given.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Big Spring Methodist Church located at PO Box 2635, Cleveland, TN 37320 or Living Water Missions 451 Hughes Road SE, Cleveland, TN 37323.
His family will receive friends from 11am until 3pm on Friday October 27th at Big Spring Methodist Church with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 3pm with Rev. Jeff Rogers officiating. He will be laid to rest following the service at Fort Hill Cemetery with Paul Howard, Brian Howard, Kyle Howard, Maxton Laman, Mitchel Laman, Chad Kirkpatrick, and Chris Wolfe serving as pallbearers.
