     A memorial service to honor the life of Charles Ray "Radiator" Howington will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home-North.

     Charles Ray “Radiator” Howington, 67, a distinguished resident of Lauderdale County, passed away on November 25, 2023, at Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian, Mississippi.

     Mr. Howington was a successful entrepreneur who, alongside his late father John T. Howington, co-owned John and Charles Howington’s Radiator Service for many years. His legacy as a radiator repair man and mechanic leaves an everlasting mark on the local community.

     He is survived by his beloved wife, Patti (Scott) Howington of Meridian, MS; son, Robbie and Heather Howington of Milton, FL; and four grandchildren: Tyler Harpman of Starkville, MS; and Mercedes Howington, Robert Howington Jr, and Zeta Howington, all of Milton, FL. Additionally, Charles is survived by his sister, Sue Hearn of Gulfport, MS; niece, La Teasha Hill of Meridian, MS; nephews, John Woodall of Gulfport, MS, and Damon Hill of Meridian, MS; as well as many other uncles, aunts, and cousins.

     Mr. Howington was preceded in death by his parents, John Thomas Howington and Mildred Marie (Parker) Howington, as well as his half-sister, Margaret Ann Winstead.

     Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at his memorial service on Saturday, beginning at 3:00 PM at Webb & Stephens Funeral Home 7774-A Highway 39N, Meridian, Mississippi 39305.  There will be a visitation prior to the memorial service beginning at 2:00 PM.  This solemn occasion serves as an opportunity to celebrate and remember the life of a cherished father, husband and friend who has left an enduring impact on all who knew him.
