Charles Foster James II, 59, of Frametown passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025, at WVU Medicine Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV surrounded by his family.
He was born on July 26, 1966, in Gassaway, a son of the late Charles Foster James and Drusilla Stump James.
Charles worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator and Craftsman for BiCon for several years. He enjoyed doing mechanic work, working in his woodworking shop, running the sawmill and hunting. He liked to buy and sell guns and knives.
He is survived by his son, Cody James and wife, Moriah of Frametown; granddaughter, Adeline James; brother, William James and companion, Michelle Dobbins Myers of Frametown; sister, Bobby Dobbins, and husband, Billy of Chapel; several nieces and nephews and other family members.
The visitation will be Noon to 2 P.M. on Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Roach Funeral Home, 708 Braxton Street, Gassaway.
His funeral will be 2 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home with Pastor Rick Hart officiating.
Burial will follow in the William James Cemetery, Leatherwood.
A dinner will be held at Hope Baptist Church after the interment at cemetery.
