Charles James Scott Walker, April 18, 2024 - December 21, 2024
Charlie made his grand entrance into the world on April 18, at only 24 weeks and was a true fighter from the start, enduring whatever came his way. During his lifetime, Charlie defied odds, moved mountains, and impacted everyone that entered his life. Charlie gave and received so much love and his personality was reflected in the simplest of facial expressions. To know him, was to truly experience love and happiness.
He will be forever missed by his parents Melanie and Alex Walker; grandparents Beth & Stuart Davidson and Tami & Tim Walker; Aunts and Uncles Meredith & Jacob Biser and Laura & Ethan Wutrick; cousins Morgan & Finnley; great-grandpa James Davidson; and so many others who loved him.
The family will recieve friends from 5:00-8:30PM on Friday, December 27 at the Anthony Funeral Homes, Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S Main St in Akron. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30AM on Saturday, December 28 at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 44 University Ave in Akron. Burial will follow. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation of books to be given to the NICUs in Akron and Cincinnati Children's Hospitals to honor Charlie's love of reading. Alternatively, monetary donations are also appreciated: www.akronchildrens.org and www.cincinnatichildrens.org.

I will always cherish my memories of Charlie. He was so strong and such a fighter-I will always remember our play time on the floor mat. My heart and prayers are with you, Melanie and Alex. His life, although short, has left a lasting impact on many~ I will never forget him. With love, Gina
