In Loving Memory of Charles Bennett Langley

Charles Bennett "Ben" Langley, age 65, passed away on November 19, 2025, in Kinder, Louisiana. He was born on March 4, 1960, in Kinder. Charles was the son of Claude Langley and Juanita Fontenot Langley. He was a lifelong resident of Kinder, where he built a life centered around family, friends, and had many passions.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Juanita Langley, and his sisters, Ellen Matthews and Carolyn Manuel.

Charles is survived by his beloved wife, Elsie Lee Langley, his daughters, Susan Sanders and her husband William Jr., and Alisha Johnston and fiancé Jesse Parault; and his cherished grandchildren, William "Trey" Sanders III and Malachi "Kai" Sanders. He is also remembered fondly by a host of family members and friends who shared his journey through life.

Charles found joy in carpentry work and tinkering with small machinery. He loved traveling the backroads with his cousins, who were more like brothers, and his nieces and nephews, making and sharing unforgettable memories along the way. The great outdoors called to him, and he delighted in camping, cooking, and gathering around bonfires with loved ones. In his quieter moments, Charles enjoyed working puzzle books, always appreciating life's simple pleasures.

Ben will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of kindness, adventure, and love for life will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

Visitation will be held in the Reed Chapel, 315 N. 14th Street, Kinder, Louisiana on Monday, November 24, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Larry Gandy officiating. Interment will follow in the Liberty Cemetery in Elton, Louisiana.
