Memorial Services for Mr. Charles Allen Lindseywill be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at 11:00a.m. at Peoples Funeral Home Chapel, 886 North Farish Street, Jackson, Mississippi. His Final Resting Place will be private.

Charles Allen Lindsey was born April 16, 1951 in Jackson, MS to Booker T. Sr. and Allean Bennett Lindsey. He was the youngest of four children.

Charles accepted Christ at an early age at St. Matthews M. B. Church under the leadership of Rev. W. M. McQuirter. He later became a member of BereanSeventh Day Adventist Church, where he served faithfully as long as he was able.

Charles received his education in Jackson Public Schools, graduating from Brinkley High School in 1960. He received a B.S. Degree in Art Education from Jackson State University in 1973. He was a very talented artist who drew "Life-Like" pictures of his subjects. He also crafted beautiful images from wire. He loved dancing, playing Scrabble, and researching family history. He was united in marriage to Celestine Smith in 2007.

Charles worked as a Substitute Teacher for many years in Jackson Public Schools. He retired from the Exceptional Studies Department at Jim Hill High School

He made his transition to eternal rest on September 23, 2025 at the Mississippi Care Center in Raleigh, MS. He was predeceased by his parents; Booker T. Sr. and Allean Bennett Lindsey and his oldest brother, Edmund Lindsey.

He leaves to cherish his memories, two brothers: Booker T.(Kay Frances) Lindsey Jr. of San Diego, CA, and Robert E. (Katye)Lindsey, Sr. of Jackson, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, Berean Church Family and friends
