Charles "Chick" Meyn

Charles "Chick" Meyn, 76, of Cold Spring, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 in Cincinnati, OH. Chick worked for Delta Airlines for 30 years in customer service and was an active member of St. Joseph Church, Cold Spring. He served his community fully, not only at the Parish Kitchen but as an Extraordinary Minister, taking the Eucharist to home bound parishioners; Other ministries include St. Vincent DePaul, Family Promise ministry for the homeless, prison ministry, RCIA, the bereavement committee, and the men's CRHP group. He was an avid bike rider, runner, kayaker, and explorer. He loved planning adventurous outings with his kids and grandkids and traveling to visit his brothers and sisters and their families. Chick was preceded in death by his parents, Charles & Marie Meyn; son, Christian Meyn; brother, Thomas Meyn; and sister, Rieann Hepburn. He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie (nee. Lyons) Meyn; daughter, Jennifer (Jess) Greenwell; sons, Dave (Jodie) & Tommy (Alesha) Meyn, Ben (Tina) Barnett, Todd (Amy) & Brian Barnett;; brothers, Jimmy & Michael Meyn; sisters, Helen Biester, Pam Cornetta, Joyce Grimmett & Terri Hilderbrandt; 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 20, 2024 at St. Joseph Church, Cold Spring.
