CHARLES MILLER
Richmond, TX – Charles "Charlie" Lee Miller, 52, loving husband of Jennifer Rojo Miller, passed away on Monday, March 3, 2025, at his residence.
Born on March 27, 1972, in Seneca, South Carolina, Charlie was the son of Benjamin "Benny" Miller and the late Faye Freeman Miller. Charlie worked as an HVAC Service Supervisor for Service Squad in Houston, Texas and was a Veteran of the South Carolina State Guard. He began his fire service career as a Junior Fireman with the Cleveland Fire Department in Madison, and was the former Lieutenant and Fire Marshal for the Westminster Fire Department, former Chief of the Westminster Rescue Squad, and served as a Councilman for the City of Westminster.
Charlie is survived by his beloved wife, Jennifer Rojo Miller; father, Benjamin "Benny" Miller; son, Jonathan Miller; daughter, Katrina Peraza; brothers, Willie Miller, Chad Miller, Matthew Miller; sister, Sharon Miller Norris, Nicole Owens; and grandson, Oliver Killingsworth.
Charlie is preceded in death by his mother, Faye Freeman Miller.
Charlie's passion was always about helping others and giving back, in a final act of kindness he gave the gift of life by being a full body donor. The family wishes to hold a Memorial Service in his hometown of Westminster, South Carolina, at Sandifer Funeral Home, at a later date, when he is returned home.
The family is at their respective homes. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Charlie's memory may be made to the South Carolina State Firefighters' Association, P.O. Box 211725, Columbia, SC 29221. Condolences may be expressed online by visiting www.sandiferfuneralhome.com.
