Charles J. Molinari, a longtime resident of Pequannock, passed away on February 5, 2025 in Florida.
Born to the late Charles and Alice Molinari, Charles grew up in Hoboken. He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1958 and proudly served his country. After his military service, he began a long and dedicated career as a longshoreman and was a member of the International Longshoremen's Association.
In 1962, Charles married the love of his life, Patricia, and the couple soon settled in Pequannock, where they raised their family. Together, they cherished weekends spent at Lake Wallenpaupack and, later, Charles and Patricia spent winters in Florida as snowbirds. Charles could often be found on the bocce court, enjoying the sun and camaraderie.
A man of many passions, Charles loved to ski, golf, and be out on the water-whether boating or simply taking in the view. He will be remembered for his dedication to hard work, steady presence, and the deep love he had for his family.
Charles is lovingly survived by his wife of 62 years, Patricia; his children: Louis Molinari and his wife Katherine, Maureen Molinari, Chuck Molinari, and Nancy Molinari-Luque and her husband Pepe; his grandchildren: Michelle Redstone and her husband Charlie, Nicole Molinari, and Louis Molinari, Jr. and his wife Ally; his great-granddaughter, Giuliana Redstone; his sister-in-law, Mary Molinari; his niece; Cathy Klecha; his nephew, John Molinari; and a loving, extended family. He was predeceased by his brother, John Molinari.
Memorial visitation will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 pm Saturday, June 28 at Scanlan's. A memorial service will conclude the visitation at 4:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations to Wounded Warrior Project would be greatly appreciated by the family.
