Charles J.
Charles J (Chuck) Morris left this earth peacefully and comfortably on Monday, December 30th, 2024, in Allegheny General Hospital surrounded by family.
Chuck never really knew a stranger, there were only friends he had yet to meet. A friend of his texted "I don't like many people, but Charlie was one of my favorites. He often reminded me that there are GOOD people in the world by being one of the best of them. He touched so many lives and seemed to always find some good in everybody."
Chuck leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 30 years, Patricia. His daughter, Rebecca Weisz (John McCarther), daughters Erin (Eric) Wissner, Jennifer Woolslayer (Brian) Charrie and Daniel and Viktoria Knapp (Jarfalla, Sweden). His grandchildren: Charlie Morris-McCarther, Heather (Adam) Wilkerson, Lauren Woolslayer (David Simms), Tara Walters (Shelton Woolever), Erica & Alyssa Walters, Chase Wissner, Sydney, Austin and Peyton Charrie, and Theodor and Arvid Knapp. His littlest and adored "buddies", Grayson Krysl, DJ Simms, and Connor Wilkerson. His brothers Christopher Edward (Patricia) Morris and James Morris. Also many beloved nieces and nephews.
Chuck was preceded in death by his son Chuckie in 2000.
He had too many friends to mention each one personally, but in particular Dale Smead, Mike Walters and Angela Isabella.
Chuck was generous, loving, kind. He loved his family above all else and absolutely adored his children, grandchildren and great grandsons.
Chuck held many positions and wore many hats in the transportation industry: Driver for Howard Delivery service and Elite Motor Coach, Director and instructor at All State Career School, and most recently as an instructor / job placement advisor with the Community College of Allegheny County (Boyce Campus) CDL program.
Past member and supporter of the Plum Hockey Association.
Member of Plum Masonic Lodge #799 and Stonybrook Saddle Club
Our family would like to thank the Cardiac surgeons, physicians and surgical staff at Allegheny General Hospital, and to the ANGELS of the Cardiac Intensive Unit (12C) for their care, love and support during a very difficult time.
Friends received, Saturday, January 25, 2025 at 11:00 am-1:00 pm at Soxman Funeral Homes, Ltd./Roth Chapel,7450 Saltsburg Road (at Universal Road) Penn Hills, where a Service will be held, Saturday, January 25th, at 1:00 pm. Interment in Plum Creek Cemetery.

I worked with Chuck at CCAC and knew him to be someone who is enthusiastic and passionate about his work as an educator and trainer. Chuck went out of his way to make those around him feel valued, and he taught me so much about CDL training. He would often talk to me about his years in the trucking industry and as a coach driver, especially some of the famous dignataries he had the honor of driving around town. I know that he loved his family above all else. My condolences to Chuck's family and friends at this difficult time. Thank you, Chuck, for the impact you made on many lives, and for your kindness, warmth, and positive attitude. I miss you!

We first met Chuck in 1973 while living in an apartment in Monroeville , when his daughter, Becky, was just a small tyke. Our families became steadfast friends, including my brother, Henry, who today, is still one of Chuck´s best friends. A better friend you will never find, nir a better human being. He will be sadly missed. The Colbert/Hill family
