Charles "Chuck" Mott

Charles N. "Chuck" Mott, 72, of Judsonia, passed from this life on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Unity Health in Searcy. He was born September 18, 1950 in Flint, Michigan a son of the late Harrison and Wanda (Stuart) Mott. Chuck retired from Speed Queen in Searcy after more than 20 years of employment. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Family was very important to him and he loved being able to spend time with his children and grandchildren, who lovingly called him "Pap.". In earlier years, he coached his children's sports teams and he had a love of horses. Chuck was devoted to the Lord and was a member of the Worden Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Mott; 4 children, Elaine Deann Judkins (Bruce), Christine Denise Churchwell (David), Carrie Lynn Davidson (Mike) and Michael Harrison Mott (Jill); sister, Sue Shields; 13 grandchildren, Lacy Quinn (Justin), Joshua Kuhn (Brandy), Bryan Spears (Brianna), Justin Smith (Kasey), Megan Martin (Nate), Lauren Mooney (Kent), Hunter Davidson (Meredith), Chloe Mott, Lydia Mott, Charis Mott, Julia Mott and Phoebe Mott as well as numerous great-grandchildren that he loved dearly; step-children, Timmy Cathey and Shana Buchfink (Jeffery); step-grandchildren, Kaden and Ryker Buchfink; mother-in-law, Donna Barrett.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife; Lora Elaine (Osmon) Mott and his brother, Thomas Harrison Mott.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home in Bald Knob. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the Worden Baptist Church with Bro. Tony Crocker and Bro. Jerry Goodwin officiating.
