Charles P. Munas 85 years old of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on June 9, 2024. He was born in Wheeling, West Virginia on December 30, 1938, to the late Charles L. Munas and Elizabeth (Johnson) Friedman. Charles worked for many years for Millturn Co., as a Machinist and later as a Set-Up supervisor. He enjoyed fishing and was a member for many years of the Hoosier Hookers Fishing Club, and he enjoyed spending time with his family. Charles is survived by his sons; Chuck (Tammy) Munas, Chris (Carol) Munas, his grandchildren; Amanda (Dennis) Hillebrand, Charley (Leslie) Munas, Chad Munas, Zach (Rachell) Munas, Jordan (Cody) Kingery, Lance (Krysten) Harlan, Lacey Harlan, Lindsey Harlan, and Jaylen Johnson, his great grandchildren; Dylan Hillebrand, Grace Krebs, Jonathan Hillebrand, Caleb Hillebrand, Carter Kingery, Coleigh Harlan, Gavin Harlan, Logan Harlan, Jade Walls, Addilyn Walls, Jaxson Man, Karsyn Man, Kamryn Man, Karter Johnson, Violet Neff, and Oakley Neff, and his sisters Cookie Flannary, Cindy Praeuner, and Donna Miller. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife Patricia (Tharp) Munas, and his son, Kevin Douglas Munas. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, from 9:00am-11:00am at Flanner Buchanan Decatur Township with the funeral service there at 11:00am.
