It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Ray Munas, who left this world on January 11, 2026, at the tender age of just two and a half months. Charles was born on October 22, 2025, in Indianapolis, to his parents Zachary Paul and Rachell Ann (Noble) Munas. Although his time with us was brief, he brought immeasurable joy and love into the lives of his family and friends.
Charles is survived by his devoted parents, Rachell and Zachary Munas, who cherish the love and light he brought into their lives. He is also lovingly remembered by his canine siblings-Murphy, Ruger, Theo, and Scout-who provided endless companionship and warmth. Charles is held dear in the hearts of his maternal grandparents, Rick and Jill Noble, and paternal grandparents, Charles and Tammy Munas. He is further survived by his great-grandmother, Pam Garver, and a host of aunts and uncles, including Jake Noble, Amanda Hillebrand (Dennis), Charles Munas (Leslie), Chad Munas, and Jordan Kingery (Cody), treasured cousins: Dylan, Grace, Jonathan, Caleb, Carter, Gage (Tiffany), Jace, Charlotte, Luke, and Hank; and many great aunts and uncles.
In addition to those who loved him dearly, Charles is preceded in death by his great-grandparents: Charles and Patricia Munas, Charles Garver, Ron and Rochelle Noble, and Harvey and Violet Adair, as well as his great uncle, Kevin Munas.
Family and friends will come together to honor and reflect on the impact that Charles had during his brief time with us. A public visitation will be held from 2 to 6 pm on Sunday, January 18th and from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm on Monday, January 19th at Jones Family Funeral and Cremation Service in Mooresville. A service will be held following visitation at 12:30 pm on Monday, January 19th at the funeral home. A graveside service will take place on January 19th at 2 pm, where Charles will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood next to his great grandma, grandpa, and uncle.
The Munas family welcomes all who wish to pay their respects and gather in solidarity during this heartbreaking time. Charles Ray Munas will forever live on in the memories of those who loved him, reminding us all of the importance of cherishing every moment we share with one another.
